CURRENTLY LABELLED AS UNDER PROGRESS pt. 3

Once there were five Bitties who started rehearsing and costuming a new group routine...

... it was going to be absolutely fabulous, and something yet to be seen on the Finnish burlesque stages ...

... lots of preparations were being made, because dressing 5 st. females is way, way, way more complicated than dressing just one, and as most of you know, even that tends to linger on the edge of impossibility at times ...

... little helpers were helping. A little ...

... and eventually, come February 18th, you´ll all see what this was all about. In the meantime, you can guess.

Clearly our new number is going to be all about empty wine glasses and kittykats.

HBF ´12 - THE TICKETS ARE OUT, GET YOURS!

It´s getting closer and closer - the 5th annual Helsinki Burlesque Festival!

And The Itty-Bitties will be there on that lovely Gloria stage again as well! With *drum roll* a brand new group number, claws and paws crossed, inshallah...! :) And do have a look at what sort of company we´re keeping; you might have heard the names of, say, Miss Indigo Blue (hint: The Reigning Queen of Burlesque 2011), Scotty The Blue Bunny, Erochica Bamboo or Satan´s Angel. Yes yes. And the Finnish performers are all very well represented as well. This is, simply put, a two-day party that you would not want to miss for anything. So you better not! I give you the straight link to the Tiketti homepage so you can get your tickets immediately. ;)

Here´s how it looked last year, on backstage right before our wild tiger-hunting routine - picture courtesy of the one and only Princess Farhana of Hollywood!

And then we went on the stage...

So. Something to expect, right? Maybe even something to give (or get!) as a Xmas/Yule/whatever-holiday-you´re-celebrating present? ;)

I know you´re eager for your regular dose of burlesque in the meantime as well, so here´s another option: New Comers´ Night 2011 with a whole lot of brand new burlesque freshmen, eager to try their wings! We´ll be there cheering them on, so should you! Some of the performer names on that list might already be familiar to some of you... ;)

ATELIERI O. HAAPALA @ HBF´11

We´re so lucky to work with such talented people. The wonderful and skilled photographers of Atelieri O. Haapala were at the Helsinki Burlesque Festival as well, and this is what they got out of the Bitties in our group number costumes!

The feather headpieces in the fan number are the handiwork of Tiisin´ Design, while the corsets in the tiger routine are custom ordered from Belle Modeste.

The rest of Atelieri´s pics from the oriental dream night can be found here. Go have a peek and marvel at it all!

2011 WITH A KICKSTART!

Just a tiny little bit more than a month to go until the fourth annual Helsinki Burlesque Festival!

And the second one with Itty-Bitties performing. Yes, we were there in 2009 and now we´ll be there again, shimmying our way into your hearts on the stage of Gloria. It´s one hell of a line-up this year as you can see! You´re treated to shows by Princess Farhana of Hollywood - Alotta Boutté - Trixie Little & The Evil Hate Monkey - Cherry Typhoon - Kitten on the Keys - Miss Astrid - Mimi Le Meaux - Lucky Penny - Velma Voluptuous - Virginia Valentine and AlexiXXXCarpentieri! And those are just the guests from far away lands - our Finnish line-up is equally impressive. You´ll see Bettie Blackheart, Kiki Hawaiji, LouLou D´Vil, Welma Jackpot, the fantastic all-boylesque group HellMonty, aerial acrobatics by The Silk Sisters and rather exciting pick-up show by Helsinki Womens´ Society. There´s music by Asta Share, swingin´ tunes played by DJ´s Fiona Timantti, Pussy Power and Miroslove Satan, Pin-Up-O-Matic by Black Peider; warm-up clubs, art shows by Kerttu Malinen and Adam Monaghan, and workshops by Princess Farhana, Cherry Typhoon and Trixie Little & The Evil Hate Monkey. Whew! Takes my breath away by even listing all of this.

AND THERE ARE STILL TICKETS LEFT! In contrary to "the word on the streets". Yes there are tickets, and if you haven´t got yours by now, then hurry, because seriously this is The Party you don´t want to miss.

And as for us, we´ll treat you with three brand new routines, seen nowhere before...

So buy that ticket and start preparing your dress for the party of the year! I can tell you that we are definitely busy with our preparations. For your pleasure only, darlings. Happy New Year!
